The Philippine Friedrich Naumann Foundation Alumni Group is organized to further the development of liberal ideals and democratic processes discussed in the International Academy for Leadership (IAF). It serves as a network not only for Philippine alumni to keep in touch, but creates an opportunity for each of them to serve as a possible resource person in the advancement of the liberal movement.
To go beyond the obvious and understand more, to collect at regular intervals and grow as a family of Indian liberals, to have some effect on our larger society are just some of the reasons why it was decided to eventually form a more structured FNSt Alumni Group in India in September 2006.
FreedomGate Pakistan – or in short FGP – is the Pakistani network of all alumni of the International Academy for Leadership in Germany. In FreedomGate Pakistan open-minded people develop themselves and others. Here, FreedomGaters find a platform of expression, in seminars, trainings and publications. With FGP they find their own potential and turn into leaders for a better society.
Operating a non-profit organization that can transfer liberal ideas, values, and our code of ethics into specific action plans. Our organization will contribute to the development of Egyptian individuals and institutions.
The Liberal Youth of Slovakia is NGO actively working with young people who characterize themselves as liberals and who want to work with liberal issues. Our goal is to spread peacefully the main message of liberalism to people in the Slovak society. Organization is open to all people no matter how old or how young they feel to be.
Since 2004 the Israeli Alumni have been engaged in an effort to get organized as a liberal action group. In a convention in June 2004, where more than 40 Alumni gathered, the participants made a common decision to become active as disseminators of the liberal idea in their society and region.
The first FNF Malaysian alumni reunion has witnessed the formation of a 'FNF Alumni Network' (FAN-Malaysia) to further promote liberalism in the country. The meeting was held at a college in the capital of Kuala Lumpur, alongside with the first German Alumni Conference on March 11 and 12, 2006.
Since 2002 the Alumni Group Argentina organizes their activities
according to the needs and interests of their members, under reference
of working in a network and without a formal structure.
Including the Alumni from Uruguay and Paraguay the group amounts to about 65 members.
Since late 1996, 41 Cambodians from 32 governmental and non-governmental organizations have got the opportunity to participate in the IAF seminars in Germany; supported by The Friedrich Naumann Foundation. For many of the participants, the trip to Germany to attend this international event was their first oversea journey. It was remembered by full of surprises and unforgotten experiences.
